Use of high technology and scientific means by potential criminals makes the task of detection more challenging because use of the technology and when the digital technology is fast spreading. Our aim of the organization is to meet these technology challenges and provide high quality, on time and credible forensic services to fulfil the need of forensic services of the nation to help in crime and fraud prevention and justice".

The mission of the Bombay Forensic Services organization is to fulfil the forensic need of the nation with creation of state-of-art facilities by providing a sound investigative establishment for the justice for helping to avail the best forensic facilities. The Bombay Forensic Services organization, will cater to the needs of all Non-Government and Government Agencies, Higher & Lower Courts, Autonomous bodies, Public Sector undertaking, Banks & Respective States and Territories and will play vital role in helping to prevent the crime & fraud by solving the cases.
